The 2008 WNU Summer Institute will be held at the University of Ottawa, Canada from 5 July through 15 August 2008 and will be hosted by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL), Bruce Power, Cameco Corporation and Ontario Power Generation (OPG).
Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Fellows will participate in an intensive six-week programme of lectures and tutorials presented by some of the world's foremost authorities on the global environment and sustainable development, nuclear–related technology innovation, non-proliferation and nuclear industry operations. The program will also include technical tours of nuclear and industrial facilities as well as cultural and social events.
With the recent completion of the 2007 Summer Institute in Korea, there are now 268 Fellows from 50 countries who have completed this World Nuclear University initiative, and became part of an expanding global network of future leaders in the nuclear profession.
